The centerpiece of the hotel’s Baroque decoration is the fresco "Divine Wisdom and the Triumph of the Arts and Sciences," reflecting the site's historical vocation for the preservation and transmission of knowledge. This key theme will guide the entire journey through the surrounding areas of the hotel.
We will discover the architectural and engineering wisdom of the ancient Romans, who, with the Aqua Virgo, brought water to the historic center since the time of Emperor Augustus. We will then continue with the artistic wisdom of the great Baroque geniuses, Bernini and Borromini, whose works "clash" in the Church of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte, where students of Rome’s oldest music school still practice today, symbolizing "musical wisdom."
